Sequoia Mission

Sequoia Mission is the outreach ministry of Sequoia Dental Ministries, created to serve individuals in our community who are experiencing hardship, homelessness, recovery, or crisis situations through compassionate dental care. Rooted in faith and guided by the belief that every person deserves dignity and access to care, our mission is simple: do the next best thing for the person in front of us.

Since 2020, Sequoia Mission has partnered with Hands of Grace Medical Clinic to provide emergency dental care for individuals experiencing homelessness in downtown Macon. Since 2023, we have also partnered with The Assembly to serve residents at Haven Hope House through monthly outreach clinics focused on relieving pain and restoring hope. While Hands of Grace Medical Clinic is currently taking a temporary pause, we remain grateful for the impact that partnership has made within our community.

Through our partnership with the Dental College of Georgia, we are also able to help connect patients from partner organizations such as Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, The Living Tree, ABBA House, Ruth House, and Crossroads Recovery with restorative dental treatment that can change the course of someone’s confidence, health, and future.

Many of the patients we serve have lived with dental pain for years without access to care. Some are rebuilding their lives after addiction or abuse. Others are simply trying to make it through difficult seasons with dignity. Through every partnership, procedure, and patient encounter, Sequoia Mission exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting practical needs with compassion, excellence, and hope.

This work is only possible through community support, partnerships, volunteers, and donations that allow us to continue reaching those who might otherwise go without care.
