Investing in the Next Generation of Dental Professionals

At Sequoia Dental Ministries, we believe that caring for people well extends beyond the treatment we provide today. It also means investing in the people who will care for others tomorrow.

Through our Empowerment branch, Sequoia creates opportunities for dental students and future dental professionals to learn, serve, and grow through real-world experiences.

Our goal is simple: to equip people to use their education, skills, and profession to serve others well.

Our Partnership with the Dental College of Georgia

Since 2023, Sequoia Dental Ministries has partnered with the Dental College of Georgia to provide senior dental students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a private-practice setting while serving patients in Middle Georgia.

Students rotate through Hartley Bridge Family Dentistry, working alongside experienced dental professionals and participating in patient care.

These rotations give students an opportunity to step outside the traditional classroom and experience dentistry in a different environment. They build confidence, strengthen their clinical skills, develop relationships with patients, and experience what it looks like to care for people with both excellence and compassion.

But we believe the experience is about more than clinical dentistry.

Our dental assisting school may have been where Sequoia began, but our desire to invest in people has never changed.
